Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Position Location: Lee’s Summit, MO Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5×8 Days Pay: $2,708/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lee’s Summit, MO. The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care in a high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms. Administer medications, sedation, and prescribed therapies as required. Assist physicians and the Cath Lab team during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment. Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner. Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Qualifications Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state. Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience (travel experience preferred). Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test. Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity procedural environment.
