Overview

The Structural AutoCAD Designer is responsible for developing structural designs from concept through construction. This role involves producing detailed design packages using industry-standard software, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with design standards and applicable codes. Responsibilities

Develop structural design drawing packages using AVEVA (E3D), AutoCAD, and other relevant software. Collaborate directly with the Lead Structural Engineer and other discipline leads as required. Ensure all design outputs meet company standards and comply with applicable codes and regulations. Assist in reviewing, updating, and maintaining structural design standards and procedures. Prioritize project scope requirements while adhering to established schedules and budgets. Set up AutoCAD drawings based on reference files provided by the Lead Engineer. Create plans and detailed drawings from sketches and redline markups. Support the development and enhancement of AVEVA (E3D) and CAD standards. Coordinate and maintain project models using MS Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and AVEVA (E3D). Follow company Quality Control and Project Management procedures. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment aligned with organizational goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and AVEVA/E3D. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Effective time management and adaptability to change. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
