Job Description
Receptionist – Mental Health Clinic (In-Person)
Orlando, FL | Full-Time | On-Site Only
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to join our growing mental health clinic in Orlando. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule and confirm appointments using our electronic scheduling system
- Check in patients and manage intake forms
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
- Support clinical and administrative staff with general office tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical, mental health, or office reception role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software (EHR experience a plus)
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (some flexibility may be required)
- Location: In-person, Orlando, FL
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate; based on experience
