Your Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic thought partner, consultant, and advisor to business managers and employees on HR related matters.
  • Provide general HR support, including policy and process guidance, and be an advisor on HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Guide and support employees and managers on a range of HR matters including talent management, compliance, and performance management.
  • Support and participate in Dubuque campus engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Support intern and part‑time student local programs for Product Engineering.
  • Lead unit employee onboarding and development.
  • Help Dubuque Works implement new HR initiatives and navigate change effectively.
  • Coach and mentor managers and employees on a variety of HR topics.
  • Coach employees and managers to help improve relationships and performance.

What Skills You Need

  • 2+ years of experience in HR processes such as talent acquisition, HR operations center, benefits, or employee programs.
  • Knowledge and experience using HR tools and applications (examples: Eightfold, Talent Central, One Model).
  • Experience providing HR coaching and counseling through challenging and uncomfortable situations.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and able to drive results amid competing priorities.
  • Solutions focused on influencing without authority and collaborating with various levels of leadership.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive John Deere employee experience.
  • Comfortable performing data and analytics analysis.

What Makes You Standout

  • Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple initiatives at once, prioritizing the critical needs of the business.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, assessments, and presentations to groups of all sizes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent degree/work experience.

$76,860.00 – $115,284.00 + Benefits
