Ascendo Resources is hiring: Accounting Manager in Boca Raton

A dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager opportunity with a large publicly traded company located near Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end close, and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies. This role will lead a team of accountants, review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements, and collaborate with FP&A, audit, and corporate finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
• Support external and internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and system implementations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA track preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory duties
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
