As a Legal Secretary supporting a busy litigation team, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth case progression—from pre-trial deadlines to final court filings. This position offers a hands-on experience in California court systems and trial preparation, all within a supportive office culture known for excellence in insurance defense.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and maintain litigation calendars and case files
• Draft, format, and file legal documents such as answers, motions, and settlement agreements
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings
• Prepare for trial, including exhibit binders and motions in limine
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, court officials, and insurance carriers
• Support attorneys with administrative and litigation-related tasks

What You Bring:

• Civil litigation experience, especially in personal injury, is highly valued
• Strong command of California court procedures and rules
• Proven organizational and calendaring abilities
• Trial preparation experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit
