Location: Neenah, WI (Hybrid – as a high-level position, the client would like a heavy onsite presence but is flexible for occasional remote days)

Position Overview
This is a newly created leadership role designed to elevate our client's global cybersecurity posture. As Senior Cybersecurity Manager, you’ll lead a technically strong team across architecture, operations, and automation. You’ll be responsible for building and executing a strategic roadmap, guiding toolset decisions, and aligning cybersecurity initiatives with business and regulatory needs.
This role is part of our client's broader transformation journey, including cloud migration and modernization. You’ll serve as a technical strategist and visionary, helping the team navigate complex decisions and communicate risk effectively across all levels—from engineering teams to the C‑suite and board of directors.

Team Structure
- Infrastructure Engineering Team – Deploys and optimizes cybersecurity tools; key business enablers.
- Cyber Operations Team – Works with third‑party MDR provider; this role is the main contact.
- Staff Team Member – Floats between teams to ensure tools support incident response.
- Bachelor’s + 8–10 years in cybersecurity OR Master’s + 5 years
- Strong understanding of frameworks: NIST, ISO, CIS, STIG
- Proven experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools: SIEM, EDR, CSPM, DLP
- Experience with incident response lifecycle and vulnerability management
- Ability to communicate technical risk to both technical teams and executive leadership
- Experience creating security standards and technology roadmaps
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CISM, Security+
- Experience with AI, machine learning, IoT
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks: CMMC, ISO 27001
- Experience with security automation and orchestration
- Military experience is highly valued
Ideal Backgrounds
Candidates from manufacturing or critical infrastructure industries are preferred.
