• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding incidents, hazards, or security-related needs.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Follow all company and client protocols to help deter potential issues and support a secure environment.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
