HR Specialist

Are you passionate about HR and ready to make an impact? Join Advanced Composites as an HR Specialist! You will be the first line of contact for employees, supporting interviews, new hire orientation, attendance tracking, payroll, event coordination, and backing up the HR Generalist in investigations and ADA/FMLA/LOA management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct candidate interviews and manage onboarding.
  • Plan and conduct New Hire Orientation.
  • Handle policy inquiries and initial employee relations interviews.
  • Serve as backup for HR Generalist in ADA/FMLA/LOA cases.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain confidentiality.
  • Coordinate company events and maintain HR systems.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of office admin experience, HR preferred.
  • 1 year of HR admin experience involving employee relations and leave management.
  • High School diploma required; bachelor’s in HR preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of EEOC, DOL, State, and Federal Regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS Systems.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
