Requirements

Must have:

  • I have over 3 years of practical IT support experience, preferably within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) setting.
  • I am skilled in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote desktop services.
  • I possess experience with the administration of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Google Workspace.
  • I am familiar with firewalls, network segmentation, VPNs, and the configuration of routers and switches.
  • I have a solid understanding of IP networking principles such as subnetting, routing, NAT, and VLANs.
  • I have experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions including Datto, Veeam, and Acronis.
  • I have a background in scripting (PowerShell preferred) and automation experience is a bonus.
  • I possess experience with RMM/PSA tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able, or Autotask.
  • I am able to prioritize and handle multiple issues across various clients.
  • I have excellent skills in troubleshooting, documentation, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • I will act as an escalation point for Level 1 technicians and address advanced troubleshooting.
  • I will administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
  • I will configure and manage Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, storage, identity, and hybrid Active Directory.
  • I will provide support for Google Workspace including Gmail, Google Drive, and Admin Console.
  • I will deploy and support network components such as firewalls, routers, managed switches, and wireless infrastructure (e.g., SonicWall, Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki).
  • I will set up and maintain VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and port forwarding rules.
  • I will plan and execute infrastructure projects like server upgrades and cloud migrations.
  • I will monitor and manage systems through Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms.
  • I will maintain and test backup and disaster recovery systems (such as Datto and Veeam).
  • I will document tickets, configurations, and client environments clearly and accurately.
  • I will communicate in a professional manner with clients both in person, over the phone, and via email.
