Practice: Experienced Pediatric Endocrinology Team in a busy Medical Group Practice
EMR: Athena clinic and Cerner hospital
Facility: Ascension St. Alexius Women & Children’s Hospital, Hoffman Estates, IL
Salary: $123,222.00 - $143,080.00

Responsibilities
Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate diagnosis and treatment skills; coordinate discharge planning with case management.
Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
Provide documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on‑call schedules.

Full‑service outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Practice
Inpatient rounds, potentially when on call
2‑3 days per week in clinic setting
MA support for Endocrinology
Excellent office support staff
Beautiful office setting on hospital campus with spacious exam rooms
Level III NICU and PICU; 24/7 Neonatology & Pediatric Hospitalist service; Pediatric ER; access to all Pediatric sub‑specialists
Qualifications / Requirements
MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
