Assistant Professor, Student Health and Wellness Center (Finance)
The USF Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) has recently relocated to a new 41,700 sq foot state-of-the-art facility. The Center provides high-quality healthcare and education to USF students, aiming to strengthen student learning and promote lifelong success through health and wellness. SHWC is part of USF Student Success, which fosters student engagement, development, learning, and success in an inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing healthcare to the USF student population. As a clinical teaching faculty member, the candidate will participate in departmental teaching programs involving medical students, residents, and fellows. Preferred qualifications include experience supervising a mobile medical response team and significant urgent care or emergency department experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, research, and service.
Must meet university criteria for appointment as an Assistant Professor.
Must hold or be eligible for a full unrestricted Florida medical license.
Successfully completed training in Adolescent Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine).
