Position Overview We’re seeking a
Finance & Accounting Specialist
who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about accuracy. This role manages the daily accounting operations of our growing company—including
AP/AR, payroll, reporting, and reconciliation —and plays a vital part in ensuring our business runs efficiently and transparently.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable
Reconcile vendor bills against POs and back-office documentation
Prepare weekly finance reports
Process monthly partner commissions
Create and maintain vendor/subcontractor records
Accounts Receivable
Generate invoices for projects, services, RMR, and progress billing
Post and record payments (credit card, eCheck, ACH, check)
Set up and manage client auto-drafts
Create deposits in QuickBooks and handle in-office check deposits
Maintain accurate records in ConnectWise and Rev.io systems
Oversee collections using established workflows
Month-End Close
Reconcile deposits, bank accounts, and employee CC statements
Review monthly transactions in QuickBooks for accuracy
Payroll & Commissions
Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll and reimbursements
Manage PTO/vacation tracking
Calculate and process quarterly technician bonuses and monthly sales commissions
Administrative Support
Support new hire setup/offboarding (IT access, equipment, and assets)
Qualifications
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with
QuickBooks and ConnectWise Managa/PSA
is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
