The Position

Senior Analyst – Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The role is part of the CFO Organization, reporting to the FP&A Manager. The candidate will perform financial duties, develop financial models, and provide analysis and decision support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting and forecasting: Connect senior management’s long‑term strategic plan to operational reality and develop the operating and financial plan to achieve targets.

Ownership and analysis of financial models to support strategic initiatives.

Provide decision support using data to advise on performance improvement, risk minimization, and opportunity capture.

Prepare monthly reporting package and periodic reports for senior management, including historical financial analysis, variance explanations, forecast updates, ad‑hoc performance reporting, and improvement of BI tools and dashboards.

Own the income statement for assigned projects and support department heads with data‑driven analyses.

Work autonomously with minimal supervision while ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

3‑5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; master’s degree a plus.

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP financial statement analysis.

Experience building and reviewing 3‑statement financial models.

Strong teamwork, ownership of processes, and results orientation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience modeling financing transactions with emphasis on project finance (debt and tax equity).

Advanced modeling skills with Excel, macros, Power Query.

Experience with Power BI and SQL.

Background in renewable energy, public accounting, or private equity.

Knowledge of NetSuite, ERP applications for renewable energy, and related accounting systems.

Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA.
