The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to effective and creative teaching and have the ability to develop innovative, experiential learning opportunities that engage students in real‑world problem solving. We are especially interested in candidates who will design new courses and lead or coordinate our Strategic Management Capstone course, which serves as the culminating experience for our business majors.

Professional (corporate or industry) experience is highly valued, particularly experience that bridges theory and practice in entrepreneurship, innovation, or small business management. Experience with client‑engaged pedagogy, consulting‑based coursework, and/or applied scholarly research is preferred. The capacity to teach across diverse areas of the curriculum, including content that may encompass small or family business enterprises, is highly valued.

The nominal teaching load for tenure‑track appointments is 3–3. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to:

Maintain a program of scholarly activity that enriches the intellectual life of the Luter School and supports our AACSB accreditation standards.

Engage with the regional business community, consistent with the strategic priorities of the University, fostering partnerships and opportunities for students.
