Senior Agile Coach – SAFe®

Role Snapshot Our Senior Agile Coach supports the organization in scaling Agile, guiding leaders, teams, and stakeholders, building alignment between delivery practices and business goals, and ensuring delivery practices are consistent, transparent, and connected to overall business goals.
Key responsibilities include facilitating Agile planning events, providing training and mentorship on Agile methodologies, promoting effective use of metrics, and driving cross‑functional collaboration to enhance value delivery across the enterprise.

Have conducted Agile maturity assessments at the team and program levels, identified growth opportunities, implemented improvement initiatives, and tracked progress through Agile health and performance metrics.
Can bring and enable transparency and metrics‑driven decision making through defining, implementing, and maintaining portfolio‑level dashboards and metrics to enhance visibility into delivery progress, risks, and outcomes.
Love collaborating with PMO and business stakeholders to ensure data informs and supports strategic and operational decision‑making.
Have designed and facilitated Agile workshops, training sessions, and experiential learning opportunities tailored to various roles and maturity levels to accelerate adoption and engagement.
Enjoy supporting and cultivating Agile Communities of Practice to promote knowledge sharing and continuous development.
Minimum Qualifications
U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Organizational Development or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience leading Agile delivery.
2+ years coaching Agile teams and leaders.
SAFe® certification (e.g., SAFe® Agilist, SAFe® POPM) and Agile/Scrum training or certification (CSM, CSPO).
Working knowledge in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SAFe® frameworks (ART launches, PI Planning, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile lifecycle tools). Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Experience facilitating enterprise‑level events (PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt) and delivering workshops to drive alignment and Agile adoption.
Experience using KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to guide execution and report outcomes.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience leading Agile delivery.
5+ years coaching Scaled Agile (SAFe®) teams and leaders.
SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification; AgileBA®, ICAgile Certified BA or ICP‑BAF; training in Agile metrics and reporting tools (Power BI, Jira dashboards).
