We are seeking a Wireless Engineer with extensive experience designing enterprise‑grade wireless and wired networks for manufacturing and office environments.
Responsibilities
Design enterprise‑grade wireless network solutions for manufacturing sites and office environments.
Develop high‑density wireless network designs considering coverage, capacity, and interference mitigation strategies.
Conduct wireless surveys using tools such as Ekahau or AirMagnet to determine optimal AP placements.
Ensure compliance with customer technology standards, security guidelines, and wireless policies.
Recommend AP positioning, RF tuning, channel planning, and antenna selection based on floor challenges (high ceilings, metal interference, etc.).
Design highly available and scalable LAN/WLAN architectures integrating Cisco and Juniper Wireless solutions.
Provide design expertise and hands‑on support for Juniper and Cisco switch configurations, VLANs, routing, and QoS policies.
Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and customer IT teams to drive seamless execution and align deployments with project timelines.
Participate in change control and governance processes to maintain project schedule alignment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless issues across multiple sites and, when necessary, engage escalation procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in enterprise wireless and wired network design and implementation.
Deep expertise in Cisco Wireless and Juniper Wireless solutions.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco or Juniper switches, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and QoS best practices.
Proficiency in RF design principles, antenna selection, AP placement, and interference mitigation.
Hands‑on experience in wireless security mechanisms (WPA2/3, 802.1X, RADIUS, EAP‑TLS).
Understanding of wireless performance troubleshooting using Cisco Controller or Juniper Mist AI.
Experience with site surveys using Ekahau, AirMagnet, or similar tools.
Expertise in RF tuning, channel planning, 802.11 protocols, and wireless QoS.
Ability to integrate wireless infrastructure with Cisco and Juniper switching fabric.
