About the Role The power generation market continues to grow and evolve. Our national Power Generation team is poised for monumental growth. As a Senior Project Manager you will serve as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor on natural gas and renewable energy generation projects, leading multi‑disciplinary teams from pre‑positioning through project completion.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships.

Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.

Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and risk evaluation.

Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completing project activities.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality, completeness, and client expectations, and maintain project communication and coordination.

Monitor and maintain the project budget and schedule, developing recovery plans for potential shortfalls.

Monitor the contracted scope of work and identify scope changes.

Provide training and mentoring to project team staff on project management and consulting issues.

Guide design or consulting work in the manager’s area of engineering expertise.

Routinely report project progress to local and regional accounting and operations teams.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of degree and relevant project experience.

Minimum 10 years of relevant power generation project experience.

Registered Professional Engineer.

PMP Certification.

Experience designing or managing simple cycle and combined cycle EPC projects as owner, owner’s engineer, OEM, or EPC contractor.

Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Demonstrated business development skills.

Strong communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills.

Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

10 years of related experience.

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software.

Excellent organizational, project management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
