POSITION OVERVIEW At Centricity, the Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting HR strategies that align with the organization’s overall business plan and direction. This position is responsible for hands‑on administration and support of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits, and compensation. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and client‑focused, able to implement HR initiatives that contribute to the company’s objectives, ensure compliance with employment law, and serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and assigned clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate closely with our team and clients, serving as their primary HR point of contact, to align HR strategies and solutions with client business objectives, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services.
Support the implementation and administration of key HR processes, programs, and initiatives that drive operational efficiency and enhance client satisfaction.
Partner with HR colleagues to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that maximize the value of Centricity's services.
Coach and advise managers to strengthen their leadership abilities, serving as a trusted resource during complex employee relations and business situations.
Provide guidance on employee performance matters, offering support in documenting performance, preparing for feedback discussions, developing improvement plans, and navigating disciplinary actions.
Monitor relevant employment legislation, arbitration decisions, and labor agreements to identify industry trends and inform best practices.
Oversee and coordinate workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Gather, analyze, and present HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, compliance, leave utilization) to management and client leadership to support data‑driven decision making.
Organize and administer annual performance review processes in collaboration with managers, providing guidance and ensuring consistency across client groups.
Provide expertise and guidance in areas including ADA accommodations, FMLA and other leave laws, wage and hour compliance, and policy development regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP certification is a plus.
Minimum of 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience.
Experience supporting multi‑state employers and advising on federal and state‑specific leave laws (FMLA, ADA, paid sick leave, etc.).
Proven experience resolving complex employee relations matters and investigations.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws (ADA, FMLA, wage/hour, EEO, etc.) , and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to confidently present and advise managers and client leadership.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP preferred) and strong Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
