Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Paralegal
to support our legal and compliance functions within a dynamic financial services organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial services, private wealth management, or investment management, and is adept at handling complex legal documentation, regulatory filings, and transactional support. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, executives, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage legal documents including investment agreements, NDAs, subscription documents, client engagement letters, and corporate resolutions.
Assist with entity formation, maintenance, and corporate governance, including preparation of board materials and maintenance of minute books.
Support legal and compliance teams with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory filings.
Conduct legal and factual research; summarize and present findings in clear, concise reports.
Coordinate due diligence for investment transactions, vendor contracts, and client onboarding.
Maintain organized legal files and document management systems in accordance with company policies.
Liaise with external counsel, custodians, and service providers as needed.
Track and monitor deadlines for regulatory filings, renewals, and corporate actions.
Support internal compliance initiatives, including policy updates, training coordination, and audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required;
Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred.
5–10 years of experience
as a paralegal, preferably within financial services, investment management, banking, or wealth management.
Strong knowledge of
corporate law, securities law, and regulatory compliance
relevant to financial institutions.
Excellent drafting, proofreading, and communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
