Quality Assurance Manager – Food Safety (Full‑Time)

Responsibilities

Certified SQF Practitioner responsible for maintaining the food safety system and initiating corrective actions when needed.

Primary liaison for external audits and pest control programs, ensuring regulatory and quality standards are met.

Leads food safety education for staff and manages customer complaints with thorough documentation and corrective actions.

Oversees inbound/outbound product inspections for specification adherence and tracks FDA recalls to verify vendor compliance.

Maintains internal food safety records including lot codes, allergen controls, and spec tracking to ensure traceability and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or equivalent certification.

Over four (4) years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.

Proven experience managing third‑party food safety audits, including SQF, BRC, FDA, and AIBI standards.

Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

SQF, HACCP, PCQI Certified a plus.
