What You Will Do
Work closely with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating and Supply Chain to manage successful contract execution.
Provide guidance to senior management on contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation.
Lead analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), develop proposals, review and coordinate proposals, negotiate and execute contracts, and manage contract administration.
Serve as key contributor during pre‑proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and startup phases of programs.
Collaborate within cross‑functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals, and examine cost structures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Effectively manage multiple contracts, contractual scope, and terms to ensure work is performed to contractual requirements.
Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and ensure compliance with policies.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal partners.
Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they arise.
Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations and contract/program risks.
Minimal travel required.
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
Experience in contract management, program management, project management or supply chain.
Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Active Top Secret clearance (plus).
Contractual acumen, proficiency in FAR and DFARS.
Experience managing development contracts in a fast‑paced competitive environment.
Ability to understand financial aspects of contracts and perform risk quantification.
Familiarity with Other Transaction Agreements, Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements.

Salary range: $82,000 – $164,000. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, and associated responsibilities.
