Overview
Support Associate - White House Black Market at Chico's FAS, Inc. The role supports a customer and product-focused sales culture across store operations, with responsibilities in merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization. Responsibilities
Operational Excellence : Process merchandise, ensure items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment on the sales floor; reorganize merchandise to maximize stock space.
Ensure new products are properly merchandised and represented in a timely manner.
Enter receiving documents into the computer system; reconcile merchandise invoices to items received; complete store-to-store transfers and locate requests accurately and timely.
Process visual packet materials, props, signage, and store stockroom hardware (hangers, sign holders, etc.) in a timely manner.
Participate in pricing changes and markdowns.
Alert store management to cash supply needs.
Assist with visual directives including floorsets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc., as directed.
Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.
Customer Experience : Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
Teamwork and Growth : Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving; seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback.
Other duties as assigned. Some duties may vary by brand.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous stock or cashier experience preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn or adapt to company technology
Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
Ability to work quickly and within strict timelines; teamwork-oriented
Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques desired
Communicate with customers, associates, and management; wear / communicate with headset
Regular attendance required; ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Constant walking / standing : 67-100% of an 8-hour shift
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs : 1-33% of an 8-hour shift
Frequent climbing : 34-66% of an 8-hour shift
