Job Description The University of Florida is hiring a Student Financial Aid Coordinator II to oversee state‑funded scholarships and grants, such as Florida Bright Futures. The role involves managing disbursements, ensuring accurate reporting, and staying compliant with state rules.
Key Responsibilities
State Program Oversight : Lead all processes for Florida‑funded scholarships and grants, including eligibility, selection, fiscal management, and interpretation of state aid policies.
Awarding & Disbursement : Coordinate the awarding and timely disbursement of state financial aid and act as the university’s main contact for the Florida Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Reporting & Compliance : Handle all reporting and reconciliation tasks for state aid programs, ensuring accurate data submission and compliance with fund disbursement and returns.
Additional Duties : Support the Manager with additional aid programs, participate in financial aid presentations and professional development, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Expected Salary $47,500 annually.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and at least two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Student Financial Aid experience preferred.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel.
