Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Surgeon (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) The University of Florida's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is currently seeking a full-time academic board‑certified or board‑eligible Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position will be Associate Professor or Professor on a tenure‑accruing or non‑tenure‑accruing track. Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and teaching with emphasis on joint surgery.

Encourage extramural funded research efforts.

Minimum Requirements

Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency.

Completed a one‑year or greater Adult Reconstructive Joint Fellowship.

Passed Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination.

MD or DO degree required and eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.

Degrees earned outside the United States must be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
