We are seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to support key
General Ledger (GL)
and
Accounts Payable (AP)
functions. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations.
Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
Perform monthly variance analyses on income statements and balance sheets.
Manage all aspects of fixed assets, including subsidiary ERP modules.
Maintain and reconcile construction-in-progress (CIP) and work-in-progress schedules.
Prepare consolidated and consolidating financial statements, including cash flow statements.
Reconcile all bank and investment accounts.
Support AP operations: daily cash reconciliation, weekly check runs, and serve as AP backup as needed.
Complete regulatory surveys and respond to requests from U.S. agencies.
Assist with external audit requests and prepare supporting schedules.
Compile information for financial statements submitted to the parent company.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
Minimum
3 years of accounting experience .
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel .
Experience with
fixed asset
and
construction-in-progress (CIP)
accounting (preferred).
Experience with
Accounts Payable
processes (preferred).
CPA
license or candidacy is a plus.
