Manager, Master Data Management (MDM)
you’ll lead the design, implementation, and governance of our enterprise-wide master data strategy. This role will be responsible for ensuring the
accuracy, consistency, and trustworthiness of core data domains , including Customers, Accounts, Product, Vendors and more. You will work closely with engineers and analysts to deliver scalable MDM solutions,
drive data quality initiatives, establish governance practices , and partner with business and technology leaders to ensure our master data becomes a strategic asset. By building and leading our MDM foundation, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business operates on trusted, unified, and governed data What You’ll Do
Define and execute the
enterprise MDM roadmap , aligning with business and data platform strategies.
Oversee the design and implementation of
golden records
and
survivorship rules
across critical domains.
Partner with architecture and engineering teams to integrate MDM with upstream and downstream systems
Mentor a team of MDM engineers and data analysts.
Drive
collaboration across data engineering, governance, and business teams
to ensure alignment on master data definitions.
Implement
data quality frameworks, monitoring , and remediation practices to maintain trusted data.
Define and track KPIs for MDM adoption, completeness, and accuracy.
Act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders to ensure master data meets evolving business needs.
Partner with business units to
onboard new domains into MDM
and support their adoption.
What You Bring
4+ years
of experience in data management with a strong understanding of data modeling, entity resolution, hierarchies, and data governance principles.
Proven expertise in MDM platforms (e.g., Reltio, Informatica, Semarchy, SAP MDG, EBX).
Experience
integrating MDM with enterprise applications
(CRM, ERP, marketing automation, finance).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with
cloud data platforms
(Snowflake, Azure).
Experience supporting
360° data initiatives
(Customer 360, Product 360, Payment 360, etc.).
Background in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, Mobility, Payments) is a plus.
Comfort operating in a
collaborative, cross-functional environment
,
balancing business logic with platform scalability.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
