Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
About the Company Urbatect Development is a leader in the Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and residential design, permitting, and construction industry, providing innovative housing solutions that maximize property value. While we specialize in ADUs, we are a one‑stop shop offering high‑quality design, permitting, and construction services for remodels, additions, custom homes, mixed‑use and multi‑family development, and other commercial projects.
Position Overview As a key member of the sales team, you will help drive growth by owning end‑to‑end sales execution, building client relationships, and guiding the clients regarding the design and construction process from start to finish. We’re looking for someone passionate about making a tangible impact with a focus on exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and project updates. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and professionally. Actively network to nurture and develop partnerships in the industry to generate leads for repeat business.
Consultative Selling Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the design, permitting and construction sectors. Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Project Coordination & Communication Work closely with internal teams, including design and project management, to align sales efforts with project execution. Communicate client requirements to ensure project deliverables meet expectations. Monitor project progress and provide clients with regular updates.
Contract Negotiation & Proposal Development Prepare bids, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with the estimating and legal teams. Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope to secure favorable agreements for both the company and the client.
Onsite Visits & Travel Conduct regular onsite visits to client properties and project locations to assess the site conditions, address client concerns, and strengthen relationships. Be available for occasional travel to attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Revenue & Account Growth Maintain and grow assigned accounts by identifying opportunities for additional services or project expansions. Develop and implement account management strategies to maximize long‑term revenue.
Reporting & Performance Analysis Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM software. Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key account updates. Meet KPIs set by the company to track performance and ensure consistent growth and success.
Mandatory Requirements Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction, engineering, ADU, or home improvement industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and provide outstanding customer service. Knowledge of construction, design, and engineering processes. Self‑motivated with the ability to close leads independently. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
