By joining our Somerset Section as an ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in Pulaski County, you'll have the opportunityto provide professional administrative work for the operations within the Somerset Section and PulaskiMaintenance Unit. You will support internal staff and leadership by tracking project related activities,keeping organized records, daily time keeping, and more. This position will involve proficient organizationand communication.

Summary of Responsibilities: Perform accurate time keeping duties Maintain organized records and timelines for construction and maintenance projects Track all equipment and material usage Handle construction and maintenance correspondence with personnel and the public Receive incoming calls Ideal candidate will have experience in:

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of professional, administrative, or business experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE

Working Conditions

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
