Description

Do you have experience in the use of computer technology, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint? Do you haveexcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate withinternal and external stakeholders. Additionally, do you can manage complex tasks and projects usingoutstanding problem-solving abilities? If so, the Administrative Assistant III position may be the perfectrole for you! We are looking for a motivated person to join our team in the Division of Program Integrity.

Our division is designed tooversee critical organizational functions including regulation and legislative review, business information,analysis and reporting, contract monitoring, risk management and training support and facilitation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinates and processes Continuing Education for training initiatives for Department sponsored events. Submits documentation to licensure boards for determinations. Ensures submissions and determinations arecomplete, logged, and trackable for documentation and reporting purposes. Reviews training curricula proposals and provides technical support to customers. Ensures submissions anddeterminations are complete, logged, and trackable for documentation and reporting purposes. Searches Record Management System for historical records and requests records from KY Department of Libraries and Archives and sends records to the requestor. Ensures submissions and determinations arecomplete, logged, and trackable for documentation and reporting purposes. Provides technical assistance for virtual and sets up equipment for in-person meetings. Assists withcoordinating and implementing of department events and assists divisions in securing and scheduling workforcefor various events. Processes applications for facility board appointments and performs other duties tosupport the division and department as assigned by leadership. The ideal candidate would have:

Knowledge in the use of computer technology, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage complex tasks and projects. Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of professional, administrative, or business experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
