By joining our Glasgow Section Office as a Administrative Specialist in Barren County, you will have theopportunity to provide administrative assistance to maintenance and construction crews while providingcustomer service support for visitors of the office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide professional support to the section office staff and maintenance units. Compile reports and summaries of budgetary information Provide timekeeping and payroll support to the section. Help the section supervisor perform contract administrative duties. Assist with reception of persons directly and indirectly through multiple ways of communication. Ideal candidate will have experience in:
Computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, typing on a keyboard. General professional correspondence and retention of records Team oriented, able to work withmultiple personality styles. Public interaction skills. Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. Benefits and Perks

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
