Our products are trusted worldwide for their quality, performance, and reliability. We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional individual to join our team as a Shipping Coordinator.

Position Summary

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all outgoing shipments from Componex are prepared, secured, and processed accurately and on time. This role involves coordinating with vendors, customers, and the production supervisor, preparing documentation, loading shipments, and maintaining compliance with shipping requirements and company standards. In addition to strong shipping expertise, the successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and 6S workplace organization.

Key Responsibilities Secure products in crates and shipping containers. (use of screw gun required) Prepare outbound shipments including packing slips, BOLs, and international shipping documents. Coordinate customer-routed shipments through professional phone and email communication. Schedule and confirm pick-up dates/times with logistics providers. Load freight with forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area in line with 5S standards. Scan and maintain records such as bills of lading, end-of-day reports, sales orders, and QC documentation. Work closely with Material Handling and cross-train for department coverage. Qualifications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Fork truck safety and operation (training provided). Clear and professional communication with customers, vendors, carriers, and customs. Ability to collaborate with Production Supervisor to meet shipping schedules. Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, logistics, and customer management software. Ability to work independently with urgency and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for use of company vehicles). Successful completion of internal fork truck training and licensing. Physical Requirements

Regularly required to Stand, bend, and kneel. Must be able to lift and move 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand for extended periods. Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in shipping/receiving. Experience with UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments. Intermediate to Advance computer knowledge. Benefits
