Manufacturing Operator Job at Staffmark in Abilene

Staffmark is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for a leading boiler manufacturer in Abilene, TX. Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sheet metal machinery to ensure precise and efficient production
• Clean 2-inch drilled holes, insert tubes, and seal them securely
• Conduct routine inspections and make minor machine adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret specifications and job orders to complete tasks accurately
• Move materials throughout the production area as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining product quality and efficiency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
