Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in Walnut Creek, California. The ideal candidate will work on high-profile cases, including catastrophic personal injury, products liability, and general negligence, representing Fortune 500 companies. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation matters and collaborate with a team of skilled legal professionals. Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents for complex litigation cases. - Manage trial preparation, including drafting motions in limine, creating exhibit lists, and organizing witness lists. - Handle high-stakes cases involving catastrophic personal injury, products liability, and general negligence. - Collaborate with team members to strategize and execute effective litigation plans. - Conduct legal research to support case strategy and decision-making. - Provide guidance to less experienced attorneys and staff as needed. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years' experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation. - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited and highly regarded law school. - Active license to practice law in the state of California. - Demonstrated expertise in civil litigation, including depositions, motions, and trial preparation. - Self-driven and highly motivated, with a commitment to delivering quality work. - Experience managing high-exposure cases, including personal injury and products liability.
