Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Pasadena, California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of family law and civil litigation cases, providing expert legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients. The position begins on-site and may transition to a hybrid or remote arrangement based on experience. Handle family law and civil litigation cases, ensuring effective legal representation and strategic case management. - Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, disclosures, settlement agreements, and discovery materials. - Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed memoranda to support case strategies. - Develop case strategies that align with client interests and legal objectives. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their legal concerns and providing clear communication. - Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient and accurate case handling. - Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and procedural changes to provide informed counsel. - Manage case timelines and deadlines to ensure compliance and effective case progression. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active membership with the CA state bar with proven experience in family law or civil litigation. - Comprehensive knowledge of civil procedure, litigation strategies, and family law practices. - Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Familiarity with legal tools and software such as Adobe Pro, Westlaw, WordPerfect, and Essential Forms is preferred. - We offer contract, temporary and permanent placement solutions for finance and accounting, technology, marketing and creative, legal, and administrative and customer support roles.
