Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in Rogers, Arkansas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the manufacturing industry, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various accounting functions and a solid understanding of office organizational tasks. Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately.
- Perform sales order entry and ensure proper documentation for financial transactions.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Process payroll in a timely manner while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and analyze financial reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow in accounting operations.
- Apply knowledge of Sage 100 Advanced software for accounting tasks, if applicable.
- Uphold office organization and ensure records are systematically stored.
- Assist in additional accounting duties as needed to support the department. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience with Sage 100 Advanced software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and financial reconciliation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting tasks.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
