Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a company located in Chandler, AZ. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and experience working with QuickBooks software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations while maintaining precision and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks to record financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), into QuickBooks.
- Assist with reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Support the tracking and maintenance of accounts receivable, including collections and updates in customer accounts.
- Assist with creating and organizing financial reports as required.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain well-organized filing systems for financial records and supporting documents.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- 1-2 years of prior accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software is required.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., formulas, data entry, and formatting).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
