One of our best sports management clients in downtown Denver is looking for an Accounting Manager on a hybrid basis to manage a small team. Open to a strong Senior Accountant looking for the next step. This position will be an integral part of the team and help ensure that the month-end close process is efficient and effective. - Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and management reports for all assigned entities.
- Participate in preparation and coordination of the annual audit for all entities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and reports. Review journal entries and monthly reporting for other entities as assigned.
- Record and review financial transactions necessary to produce internal and external financial statements.
- Review account reconciliations and research reconciling items timely.
Requirements:
- Excellent systems aptitude and strong analytical skills.
- General ledger knowledge and financial analysis skills a must.
- Excels in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritize and keep a positive attitude.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software programs with advanced Excel skills.
- Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of demonstrated accounting experience
- Microsoft Dynamics a plus
