Description We are looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team in Fresno, California. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in civil litigation and personal injury cases, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality legal documentation. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of legal procedures. Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings, with precision and attention to detail. - Organize and maintain case files to ensure accessibility and compliance with legal standards. - Assist attorneys with depositions, ensuring all necessary materials and arrangements are in place. - Conduct research to support civil litigation and personal injury cases. - Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, and other parties involved in legal processes. - Manage scheduling and deadlines for court appearances and other legal proceedings. - Review and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations. - Provide administrative support to attorneys, including handling correspondence and managing calendars. - Stay updated on changes in civil litigation and personal injury law to enhance case preparation. - Coordinate with licensed attorneys to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
