Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the University of Louisville in the search for a Director of Regional Philanthropy as the university builds towards a transformative comprehensive campaign.
Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President of Philanthropy, the Director of Regional Philanthropy will play a key role
individually and collectively
in cultivating long-term relationships with donors who have the capacity to make transformative gifts, while leveraging the relationships and vision of university leaders to secure support for strategic university priorities and initiatives. The Director of Regional Philanthropy will be a seasoned and exceptional team-oriented fundraising professional with a demonstrated successful history of securing high-dollar philanthropic gifts. The Director will identify and engage new alumni, friends, and corporate partners in a targeted region. This position will convene campus partners and advise on the development of coordinated strategies aimed to maximize the lifetime engagement and support of a portfolio of new high-net-worth prospects.

A bachelor's degree and at least four years of experience are required for this position. Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience as a fundraising leader in a complex, decentralized, comprehensive university environment, an advanced degree, and/or a professional fundraising certification are preferred. The University of Louisville will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds.
