Senior Accounting Analyst Job at Century Group in Los Angeles

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $105,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and document variance analysis.
• Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding and sub-ledger reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for internal review.
• Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, are essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
