Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $150,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and the month-end close process.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and review general ledger account variances.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
  • Review schedules and reports for internal use and external audits.
  • Complete accounting tasks to support new bank products, services, or enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and manage accounting team members.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve accounting issues.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting or public company accounting.
  • knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Preferably a CPA license or MBA.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry (preferred).
