Responsibilities

• Compile monthly financial data using internal systems, including journal entries and inventory-related accruals.
• Reconcile inventory records with the general ledger during month-end close processes.
• Monitor and update daily tasks within the ERP system to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze and report discrepancies in inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Assist with budgeting, cost updates for new products, and support during physical inventory counts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a focus on accounting.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or accounting within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with other departments.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
• Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cost accounting principles and a solid grasp of GAAP standards.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement approach to processes.
