Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) – Inside Higher Ed/University of Florida job posting. The University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine seeks a full-time academic Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon who is board certified or board eligible. This position may be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor on a tenure-accruing or non-tenure accruing track. Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. Responsibilities
Provide patient care with emphasis on orthopaedic hand surgery. Contribute to teaching and research within the division. Minimum Qualifications
Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency. One-year or greater hand surgery fellowship. Board certified or eligible. MD or DO degree required. Eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License. Preferred Qualifications
Relevant clinical and research experience in hand and upper extremity surgery. Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation with potential for a significant bonus (>50 percent of salary) based on clinical productivity. Salary is commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. The division has active research support and opportunities for collaboration across campus. Application Instructions
