Bowman Williams
Job Description
Are you a Systems Engineer who loves variety and new challenges? This role is split between high-level support (escalations) and hands-on project work —so no two days are the same. One day you might be migrating a client to Microsoft 365, the next you're tackling Azure, spinning up servers in VMware / Hyper‑V.
If you're looking for a place to sharpen your skills in real-world projects while working with a tight‑knit, growth‑minded team, this is it.
What You'll Do
Handle a mix of projects and escalated support (about 50 / 50).
Work hands‑on with Azure (VMs, AD, networking, storage).
Manage Microsoft 365
Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, security, and policies.
Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Security, and Policies
Administer Windows Servers (DNS, DHCP, GPOs).
Support virtualization with VMware, Hyper‑V, and Verge.io
Ensure backups, disaster recovery, and security best practices
Collaborate with IT teammates to solve problems and keep systems running smoothly.
Requirements
3+ years' experience as a SysAdmin or Microsoft Cloud Admin
Strong background in Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell
Hands‑on experience with Azure and M365
Knowledge of VMware / Hyper‑V (Verge.io is a bonus).
Problem‑solver who thrives under pressure and enjoys variety.
Benefits
Health, dental, and vision coverage
Generous PTO + WFH hour accrual (like PTO)
IRA retirement plan with 3% company match
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Benefits
Base pay range: $80,000.00 / yr - $110,000.00 / yr
