The schedule is 2nd shift, 230-11pm, M-F, with rotating weekends and holidays.

$30.15 - $45.25

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) Medical Technologist program, five years' clinical lab experience, or two years' clinical lab experience with Medical Lab Tech (MLT) certification.
Previous experience as Medical Technologist preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP certification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs and provides accurate laboratory test results on human patients.
Prepares and issues blood components for patient transfusions.
Assists in the collection and transport of patient samples from the clinics to laboratory sections.
Handles hazardous materials in accordance with regulations to ensure safe working environment.
Requisitions and maintains inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment as needed for laboratory operations.
Supervises, trains, and reviews the work of students and lower-level technicians engaged in clinical laboratory work.
Operates complex specialized laboratory instruments; instructs other personnel in the use and operations of these instruments.
Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
