Skillset / Experience We are seeking a Solution Architect II – Digital Technology to join the Enterprise Correspondence Systems team, which serves as the digital backbone for customer communications. This architect will play a pivotal role in designing, integrating, and optimizing enterprise‑scale communication platforms that enhance secure, scalable, and seamless customer engagement across digital and traditional channels.

The role requires a blend of hands‑on technical expertise and solution design experience —ideal for candidates with strong architectural depth in digital correspondence, cloud environments, and enterprise system integration. Primary Focus

This position is centered around Enterprise Correspondence Systems that enable customer communications through the MyAccount portal, mobile app, and supporting vendor platforms (Adobe, Oracle, etc.).

You will

Design and optimize large‑scale correspondence systems that support secure digital interactions.

Integrate vendor communication management platforms into the organization’s digital ecosystem.

Architect scalable, compliant, and resilient solutions supporting omni‑channel communication.

Digital Correspondence Ecosystem MyAccount & Mobile App Serve as central hubs for customer correspondence, enabling secure access to billing statements, payment history, and account management. Customers can manage communication preferences and opt for paperless billing.

AI‑Powered Messaging (Nanci) The virtual assistant “Nanci” handles digital inquiries using AI. It responds to FAQs, escalates complex cases to live agents, and maintains chat transcripts for up to months.

Email & Text Messaging Support automated digital notifications for billing, payment reminders, and verification processes. Customers can opt in for text alerts and digital statements.

Webinars & Digital Engagement Collaborate with internal teams and partners such as Adobe to modernize customer engagement through webinars and interactive digital content.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and integrate enterprise‑scale customer correspondence solutions across digital channels.

Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with cloud, security, and compliance frameworks.

Lead architectural decisions for frontend, backend, and API‑based integrations supporting customer‑facing platforms.

Leverage cloud technologies (Azure preferred) to modernize and scale communication systems.

Collaborate with cross‑functional global teams to deliver high‑impact digital capabilities.

Contribute to technical strategy, solution roadmaps, and design reviews for new digital initiatives.

Target Experience & Qualifications Experience

– years of relevant experience required; + years preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Software Engineer in digital or enterprise platforms.

Strong understanding of modern frontend and backend stacks, both cloud‑native and on‑premises.

Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS / GCP also acceptable).

Demonstrated success delivering consumer‑facing digital products.

Experience in content authoring, personalization, analytics, and digital delivery channels preferred.

Familiarity with mobile and network architecture design principles.

Exposure to large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.

Experience in regulated industries, and knowledge of AI / ML and edge computing environments preferred.
