This client is seeking a true senior-level engineer with cloud native Python and AWS expertise. They require deep technical knowledge of architectural design, solution evaluation, and team education on modern cloud applications. Experience with architecture or solutioning is preferred. Job Purpose/Role

Participate in the design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products, and services. Under general guidance, oversee the delivery of technical solutions and ensure that the delivered solution meets the business requirements, design requirements, and technical specifications. Provide coaching and mentoring to junior developers. Key Responsibilities

Design, document, code, and conduct unit tests; debug software solutions and components while applying enterprise standards, application patterns, and development best practices. Provide project process support: estimate development components, coordinate design efforts, and assist project managers with schedule and budget adherence. Act as a technical advisor and facilitate resolution of technical issues. Communicate status to stakeholders, ensuring maintenance of development standards and framework currency. Decompose complex problems, provide technical guidance, and serve as a resource for junior developers. Contribute to development standards, evaluate new solutions and tools, and maintain technical solution diagrams and models. Participate in conceptual design and support review of estimates, development, and deployment plans for Agile/Scrum and SDLC projects. Recommend IT capability improvements, including logging, monitoring, and software upgrades. Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g., generative AI). Key Requirements / Skills / Experience

At least 6 years of experience in the following technologies and practices: Platforms:

Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, IIS, AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS SMS, AWS SQS, AWS State Machine, AWS CloudWatch, AWS DynamoDb, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Node.js, Azure DevOps, Azure Virtual Machines. Languages & Frameworks:

C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Python 3+, SQL, TypeScript, WSDL, XML, .NET, .NET Framework, AJAX, Angular, Angular.js, ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, Vue.JS. Techniques:

Debugging, SOAP, web service development. Tools:

MS Test, nUnit, NuGet, NPM, Git, Subversion (SVN). Education:

Four-year degree required in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Other:

Background in large financial services or insurance companies. Formal certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and AWS Certified Developer are preferred. Benefits
