Womens Amb Health Hartford - Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant Location: 80 Seymour Street, Hartford, CT 10008 Hartford Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and part of Hartford HealthCare, providing comprehensive care and opportunities for professional development. Responsibilities
Provide holistic, quality and cost-effective care for women, and participate in medical management to maintain or achieve optimal health status, manage disease, and reduce risk of illness. Engage in independent decision-making regarding the health care of women across the lifespan and continuum. Practice within a health care system that supports medical consultation, collaborative management and referral for obstetrics (antepartum, triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum) and family planning. Report to OB Hospitalist Medical Director. Schedule options include 13-hour day and night shifts. Benefits

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse-Midwifery Master's program Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or APRN in Connecticut Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or APRN through AACN, ANCC, or ACNM Labor and delivery experience required Specific experience in women’s health specialty strongly preferred
