Overview
Metrology & CMM Quality Technician — Injection Molding at Ambrit Engineering. This role focuses on metrology testing and CMM-based inspection to ensure parts and processes meet exact specifications. Responsibilities
Calibrate tools and set up the coordinate measuring machine to verify parts from plastic injection molding lines. Inspect components using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, travel/drop indicators, scales, and other metrology instruments. Set up and measure parts using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Build and maintain spreadsheets for data capture; document results using good documentation practices (GDP). Reconcile and finalize inspection records for outgoing shipments. Maintain the retained-sample program and ensure sustainability of sample controls. Verify incoming raw materials meet purchasing specifications and confirm outgoing product meets final requirements. Collaborate with production teams to resolve product and process issues. Communicate with customer quality representatives as needed. Support additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment. Injection Molding: 1+ year in plastics injection molding (required). Preferred: Additional industry experience in Plastic Injection Molding. Compensation & Schedule
Starting at $20.00/hr; up to $30.00/hr based on experience and certifications. 1st Shift: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM. Shift differential available. Full-time; 8-hour day shift with overtime and weekends as needed. Benefits

Occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 25 lbs. Vision needs include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Role Scope
